“It Gets Better.”
We’ve seen things fall apart faster than they were built. There were moments when everything went quiet—no rhythm, no direction—just the weight of wondering if any of it was worth continuing.
But what's pure has a way of finding you again.
Drumming saved me—but not in some perfect way. It didn’t erase the past. What it did was give me something steady to pursue. Something honest. Something that demanded I show up, even on the days I didn’t want to.
So I did.
And I still do.
Every time I sit behind a kit, I’m not just playing—I’m rebuilding. Everything you and I see is proof that what tried to stop me didn’t.
You don’t have to have it all figured out—just have to keep playing.
